Snippets was written in 2007 for the cellist Caroline Szram from England who utilized the piece for her Master of Music graduation recital.  The composition consists of seven short movements that each explores a singular musical idea while exploiting the unique timbral characteristics of the violoncello throughout its range.  The work is performed without break between movements.
